Come join us at the Sayre Sportsmen’s Club for a monthly NRL.22 rifle shoot. Everyone is welcome and membership is not required to participate. Multiple classes available (Open Base, Semi Auto, Young Guns, Ladies, Adaptive and Air gun). $20.00 to pre-register on Practiscore or in person on day of. Go to Practiscore and type Sayre in search box. All matches should appear. Required equipment is any .22LR scoped rifle and 60 rounds of ammunition (plus extra for sighting). Annual election of Directors/Officers
The Annual Banquet has been cancelled. The election of Directors/Officers will be held at the monthly Membership meeting on May 27, 2026.
Monthly Work Bee
We are starting a monthly Work Bee to keep our club looking great, the third Saturday of each month, starting at 8 am until 12 pm-ish. Lunch will be provided. We would love to have more member participation. Please see Ryan Blakely for information.
Director Meeting
Our Director Meeting will be held one hour earlier than usual, starting at 6 pm instead of 7 pm to accommodate for the indoor 22 league. All members are welcome to attend.
22LR Plinking League
This is meant to be a fun, laid-back opportunity to hang out with fellow shooters and get some trigger time during the winter months. We’re keeping it simple and easy to participate. With youth and adult divisions for both beginner and advanced shooters, there’s a place for everyone. All you need is your rifle, some ammo, and a good attitude. Membership encouraged but not required.
Start Date: Sunday February 15th, 2026
Cost: $40 for adults and $20 for youth, this covers all 8 weeks due in full up front. If you miss or can’t make a week you are allowed to make it up the next week.
Shooting hours: Sunday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or Wednesday 5:30pm – 8:00 pm. You will only need to shoot once per week.
Each week will be a different fun “novelty” target. We will be dropping your worst week. You may use a bench, bags, bipods. A scoped rifle is highly recommended.
We will try to do prizes at the end, depending on participation.

Second Annual 22 Field Day
Join us for a thrilling day of .22 rifle shooting, perfect for both adult and junior shooters!
Event Details:
Outdoor Shooting: Targets include paper targets, swinging steel knockouts, steel plates, and sitting clay birds. The skeet and trap fields will serve as extra .22 ranges.
Indoor Shooting: The cold isn’t for you? Enjoy shooting in a comfortable, warm indoor range with paper targets.
Amenities: The clubhouse will be cozy and warm for relaxation between rounds. Refreshments will be provided, including coffee, hot cocoa, and hot dogs.
What to Bring: Your own .22 rifles, ammo, and family-friendly spirit!

22 Rifle Field Day
Join us for a winter .22 Rifle Field Day event. We will be using both the indoor and outdoor ranges with both paper and reactive targets. This informal competition is for adults and juniors. Hot dogs and hot cocoa in the clubhouse. Ammo is available. Please text 607-768-9594 if you plan to attend.

Fall Work-Bee
The Fall Work-Bee is scheduled for October 26, 2024. We could sure use some help with wood-cutting, filling the houses, and some general prep for winter months.
Annual Shoot-Off
This year’s Annual Shoot-Off will be held 9/29 during normal business hours. The last day to quality for events is 9/25! High guns for Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clays gets a flat of shells, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place per class get free rounds!

Rabbit Hunt
Check in time at 5 pm at Sayre Sportsmen Club - no small game hunting on club property.
